Individual and Couples Therapy

“Family dysfunction rolls down from generation to generation, like a fire in the woods, taking down everything in its path until one person in one generation has the courage to turn and face the flames.”

— Terry Real, author of I Don’t Want To Talk About It - Overcoming the Secret Legacy of Male Depression, The New Rules of Marriage, and Us

I’m an experienced psychodynamic and relational therapist. I work with clients seeking to deepen self-knowledge and develop the skills of relational living. I specialize in helping men and their partners navigate the complexities of masculinity, relational trauma and attachment.

Meet (Me) Bailey

I have been a licensed therapy practitioner since 2016. Most recently, I worked with high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students from 2017-2021 as a Senior Clinician at the University of Pennsylvania’s Student Health And Counseling (formerly Counseling And Psychological Services). Before this, I served as an Outpatient Therapist and assistant to the Clinical Director at Progressions, a community mental health agency serving Lower Bucks County.

I graduated with a Masters in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I trained as a Junior Fellow through the Center for Child & Adolescent Development in trauma-focused CBT with children and adolescents, completed a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Dr. David Wohlsifer. While at Bryn Mawr, I interned at Laurel House (2014-2015) and at the University of Pennsylvania (2015-2016).

Prior to my career as a therapist, I worked in Production Management and Operations at National Geographic Television (Washington DC) and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (Chevy Chase, MD) between 2011-2014. I graduated from Dickinson College in 2011 with her B.A. in Anthropology.

I grew up in Bryn Mawr, PA. My family and I relocated to Maplewood, NJ briefly before returning to the Main Line where I now live with my partner and our two children.
